Plain-English answers to the questions prospective students ask most often about BCBT.
No, BCBT is a higher education provider that delivers undergraduate degree programmes in partnership with leading UK universities. Your degree is awarded by the validating university.
All of our BA (Hons) degrees are three years full-time, available with a Foundation Year where appropriate.
At launch, we are delivering on-campus, full-time programmes only — with timetabling designed for mature learners. Part-time and online options may be considered in future, subject to validation by our university partners.
Each programme is validated by a leading UK university. The specific validating university for each course is published on its course page once partnerships are confirmed.
Mature applicants without formal entry qualifications are welcome. We assess applications on the basis of relevant work experience, accredited prior learning and a written personal statement, in line with the validating university’s recognition of prior learning policy.
Yes — and you’d be in good company. Most of our students are mature learners returning to study after time in work, family life or both.
We accept applications on a rolling basis until each intake is full. We recommend applying as early as possible, particularly if you need time to arrange Student Finance.
Annual tuition fees vary by programme and are published on each course page. Final fees are confirmed in your offer letter.
Eligible UK students can apply for tuition fees and maintenance support through Student Finance England, subject to the relevant course designation. Our admissions team can talk you through what is likely to apply in your case.
Yes. Every BCBT student is allocated a Personal Tutor on enrolment and meets with them at defined points throughout each academic year.
